Full Job Description

We are looking for an Dental Office Manager to join our senior team, who will provide support to our practice manager and a high level of customer care for our patients. Our practice, based in the heart of York, is independently owned and provides family dental care. Working hours: Monday to Friday. 40 hours per week. Starting salary: £13 per hour What We Can Offer You:

Specific Skills Required:
  • Dental background is preferred but experience in medical or hospitality background will also be considered
  • Excellent focus on patient journey and hight level of customer service
  • Willing to learn and carry out continued professional development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive, calm, caring with a positive attitude
  • Experience with Dentally Software (preferred but no required)
  • A high level of computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft office 365
  • GDC registration (desirable but not required)
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide assistance to the practice manager as and when required and work as part of the practices senior team
  • To monitor and process referrals
  • To review NHS open courses of treatment for each clinician
  • To liaise with our dental laboratories
  • To check daily takings and carry out banking
  • To carry out auditing as instructed by the practive manager
  • To carry out training and become our information governance lead
  • To carry out training in safeguarding to become one of our safeguarding champions
  • To carry out debt reporting and contact patients with outstanding balances
  • To provide a reliable, efficient and timely service to ensure we exceed patient expectations at every visit and provide a first class customer experience
  • To provide support to our patients via our reception our our in-house call centre
  • To work as part of the whole dental team to assist in the provision and delivery of dental care services to patients
  • Ensure that all activities undertaken at the practice are in line with our policies and procedures
  • To maintain and update patient records and carry out administration duties
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Up to £13.00 per hour Schedule:
