Dental Nurse/Receptionist

For those of you who haven’t heard of us, we are a niche practice in Tamworth with a mixed NHS and Private patient base whose focus is on patient care above everything else. We offer standard NHS treatments as well as cosmetic treatments including Short Term Orthodontics, Tooth Whitening and Composite Bonding/Veneers. The practice is led by our Principal Dentist, Dr Khan who has over 10 years of experience training nurses and mentoring staff and is now certified in effective coaching and mentoring. We value our staff and nurture their strong qualities to help them reach their true potential to provide the best service we can for our patients. Your duties will include:

• Day to day activities of a dental nurse
• Taking a full written history of a patient
• Triaging patients over the phone and presenting cases to the dentist
• Establishing strong rapports with patients
• Being involved with developing the treatments we provide at the practice.

• To be at least 1 years qualified (but can be less dependent on candidate)
• Be passionate about your role
• Have the desire and ability to treat & manage anxious patients
• Be able to promote Private, Denplan care & Practice Plan plans to help build our private patient base
