Wonderful opportunities have arisen for dental nurses to join our team within our growing oral and maxillofacial surgery/Orthodontic departments at Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital. The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic and hard-working with a passion for helping patients and a willingness to learning from others and share knowledge and ideas with colleagues. In addition to this, excellent communication skills are needed, as is the love of people and a willingness to put the patient at the centre of all they do. We are looking for a highly motivated individuals who can empathise with our patients with dental phobias and complex needs. Working well within a team, communication, organisational and dexterity skills are key to this role. There are a multitude of exciting opportunities to expand on your knowledge and skills within the trust. You will have the opportunity to work in theatre settings providing assistance to our consultants and speciality doctors during general/local anaesthetic procedures. Outside of theatres you’ll be working within our busy outpatient departments the job offers lots of variety and our team is small and friendly with a mixture of personalities. Ideally applicants will have some experience in both orthodontics and oral and maxillofacial surgery specialities, and hold a nationally recognised post qualification in radiography, sedation, orthodontic nursing, oral health education and/or special care dentistry. This post is based within Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust in our busy and established departments at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.
