Delivery / Fitting Assistant (optical)

Role : Delivery Assistant – Optics (Aftercare) Area: Covering East London – ideally located close to IG6 – working from home initially Status Permanent role : Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm (flexibility required) Salary : DOE You must be a confident driver and have a full and clean driving licence and be double vaccinated. We are seeking a highly motivated, friendly and reliable Delivery Assistant living in or around the IG6 postcode or East London. This role is focussed around the aftercare of our patients. You will, ideally be from an optical background as you will be responsible for delivering a professional service our patients in their own homes and in some care home settings. On a daily basis you will be delivering glasses to patients, so you must be able to work on your own initiative and be confident in your ability to fit prescription glasses and drive in and around the East London / Essex areas. Our patients are pretty special so we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic with a kind demeanour. This would suit someone who is looking to stay in optics but doesn’t want to work weekends, or someone from an optical retail background who wants some more variety in their work.
