Consulting Vet (Denby Dale)

Job Title: Consulting Vet Salary: £40-55k (pro-rate) dependent on experience Location: Calder Vets – Denby Dale branch Job Type: Permanent, Part Time Hours: 30-35 per week Your role and responsibilities This is a perfect position for an experienced consulting only veterinary surgeon. The clinic is located in the lovely village of Denby Dale, a charming and friendly location in the countryside of West Yorkshire. This is a popular long-standing site with a loyal and pleasant client base. You would be supported by an experienced and skilled team who would love to share their local knowledge and baking with a happy vet who cares about the patients as much as they do. The hours would ideally be spread over three days and involve some contribution to a weekend rota (Saturday daytimes only) at local clinic level. You would be the main veterinary surgeon working independently at this location and therefore would be keen to build excellent client relationships, drive clinical excellence and get that all important case continuity. Denby Dale is the sister site to our operating clinic at Penistone where your colleagues can perform a variety of surgical and dental procedures. Slightly further afield you will be supported by our 24-hour Dewsbury Hospital with access to advanced imaging and middle tier referrals in surgery, dermatology, and ophthalmology plus the recently opened physiotherapy led rehabilitation centre.
