Full Job Description

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will have aspirations for your personal development, in keeping with provision of high quality patient care; job plans can be balanced between acute and primary care to reflect your aspirations. You will be supported by a Foundation Programme of education and training to aid your development. This includes structured rotations, educational opportunities and support with a foundation pharmacist framework for development. These post/s are rotational, with an expectation to work at all trust sites. There is a commitment to weekend working and on-call as part of our clinical teams. We have one of the highest proportion of pharmacist prescribers in the country, using their skills for patients on general wards, in specialist clinics, GP practices, in their own homes and in care homes. The Trust’s Specialist Emergency Care Hospital is supported by a 7 day clinical pharmacy service. As a flexible employer we welcome applications from individuals wishing to work part time or job share. The post holder will be required to work at a range of sites within the Trust and in primary/community care settings. Please note that we would welcome applications from pre-registration pharmacists due to qualify in August 2023, or from recently qualified pharmacists looking for the right challenge. Full time or Part time hours may be considered
