Clinical Nurse Manager

Lida Vet has an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered veterinary nurse to take on a role of a clinical nursing manager in a friendly and experienced team. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered veterinary nurse (RVN) to act as clinical nursing manager (CNM) to our friendly and experienced team. This is a fixed-term position for 12 months of maternity cover or return of the post holder. The role is full-time combining 4 days of clinical activity and 1 day off clinic for administrational duties. There is a 1-in-6 weekend rota (with TOIL). No night rota. Shift work will be mandatory for this role (7am to1pm, 7.30am to 4.30pm, 9.30am to 6.30pm and 12pm to 9pm) We are a busy small animal first opinion practice working alongside 5 receptionists, 4 vets, and 6 RVNs in Newmarket Suffolk. We have 4 visiting specialists who we work alongside (an orthopaedic, cardiologist, neurologist, and ophthalmologist). All nursing tasks will be used throughout your shifts from nursing inpatients and monitoring anaesthesia to nursing clinics and emergencies. We have high-spec equipment including a brand-new ultrasound machine, anaesthesia monitoring including capnography (this includes anaesthesia training courses).
