Boots Retail Assistant (Optical)

The Role Do you have previous retail or customer service experience? Do you love working with people? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Our Boots Opticians store in Abingdon is looking to appoint a Retail Optical Assistant, no previous optical experience is necessary as onsite training and support will be provided. Key Responsibilities The key responsibilities of a Retail Optical Assistant include, but are not limited to:

• Building great rapport with customers by listening and understanding their needs.
• Helping our customers find the perfect products tailored to their lifestyle and requirements.
• Ordering and dispensing of glasses and contact lenses.
• Providing aftersales support through adjustments.
• Working together as part of a team.
• Administrative tasks associated with the store in which full training will be provided.
