Band 6 Senior Audiologist

We are striving to deliver excellence in patient care and management and are looking for a highly motivated full-time or part-time Audiologists to complement our busy friendly Adult and Paediatric Audiology Team. The successful candidates should be flexible, possess excellent organisational and communication skills and provide a professional service in this varied and challenging role. Working on their own initiative combined with the ability to prioritise changing workloads is a must. An understanding for the need for discretion and diplomacy in a confidential setting are also essential. The department comprises of adults, implantable devices, paediatrics, balance, hearing therapy and complex needs. Duties will include the assessment and rehabilitation of children and adults with balance and hearing problems including ENT support. There are opportunities to receive training within these specialist areas. The post holders will be based at Heartlands Hospital but also cover Solihull and Good Hope Hospitals and some Community settings. We have 1 vacancy (1.0wte) so the hours per week are 37.5hours. Job share may be considered. It is a very exciting time to join the team as the department will be moving to a new state of the art Heartlands Treatment Centre in January 2023.
