‘prior applicants need not apply’. The Audiology Service provides a highly specialist clinical technical service via several routes. The role of the Audiologist is to develop their clinical skills and supervision where necessary. You will undergo continuous assessment. Your main duties will be carrying out routine procedures within the Audiology Service and observing/assisting more senior staff to gain knowledge and training in more complex procedures. The work undertaken can be delivered via numerous locations including large district general hospitals, Health centres, community hospitals, nursing homes and patient homes your location for duty may vary to suit the needs of the service. It is essential that you Audiology BSc or equivalent such as BAAT Parts 1 & 2 with NC Physiological Measurement, Current registration with RCCP or HCPC. You will be employed for 37.5hours per week and working patterns may change to suit the needs of the service. The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday 9am-5pm but may vary due to the needs of the service. Full professional registration is an essential requirement for the post.
