About the role

The School of Healthcare is looking to appoint an Associate Professor in Pharmacist Prescribing with an expertise in community-based pharmacy practice. This exciting role involves being a core member of our team delivering and managing a national pharmacist independent prescribing programme. The role requires supporting all on-line and face to face delivery, assuming primary responsibility for community based trainees and ensuring that the course meets the requirements of our community pharmacy based stakeholders.

About you

You will be expected to be a practising community-based pharmacist prescriber, with significant experience of teaching, assessment and management within a pharmacist independent prescribing program. Evidence of delivering high quality teaching and assessment experiences and obtaining excellent feedback from trainees is essential. Whilst the programme is largely online delivery, there are some in person training days. With nationwide teaching provision you will be required to travel and deliver training in all parts of England, have the flexibility to cover for colleagues in an emergency and be an excellent team worker.
Applications for job share will be considered.
