Full Job Description

About us We are looking for a full time or part time associate to join our friendly team at our busy 3 and 2 surgery Practices. We are an independent practice – family owned for the last 40 years. We are professional, agile, innovative, and our goal is to delivery high quality patient care and treatment. Fully computerised, digital x-rays and rotary endodontics (for both NHS and Private). We are predominantly NHS, but also have many Practice Plan and independent Private patients. The new associate would take over a well-established busy patient list, with availability of up to 6000 UDA at a UDAs rate of £28.44. At this current time, we are at NHS capacity, and concentrating on maintaining our current patient basis, with new patients being accepted on a Private basis. Our dental team includes long standing content associates of many years, including one who has been with us for 17 years. Similarly, our DCPs include two Senior Nurses with a combined 42 years experience, and all DCPs have been trained in-house and remained with the Practice post-qualification. We have recently (October 2022) expanded to provide a new modern additional surgery at our Denton Road site, which increases our ability to provide flexibility of working days. Applicants must be GDC registered, have an active performer number, at least 2 years experience working within the NHS (with minimum of two references covering this period) and appropriate indemnity cover. In addition, they must be able to provide an excellent standard of patient care and demonstrate good communication skills. We look forward to meeting the next person to join our ‘Dental Family’. We are looking for an Associate Dentist to join our team, who will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of dental treatment. This includes examinations, taking x-rays and performing cleanings, fillings and extractions. The Associate Dentist must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, an ability to work well under pressure and willingness to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities:
  • Provide dental assistance to the dentist.
  • Assist with various dental procedures.
  • Assist with treatment plans.
  • Maintain and provide records of patient care and dental procedures.
  • Schedule appointments, check in patients, and collect fees.
  • Set up equipment to prepare for procedures.
  • Have good customer service skills.
