Assistant Practice Manager
We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated Assistant Practice Manager to work alongside the manager and/or independently to oversee the daily running and development of our outstanding dental practice. You must be well-experienced within a management role, with a hands-on approach.
Duties will include:
- Assist with the smooth day-to-day running of the operational side of the area/practice.
- Come up with innovative solutions to ensure maximum capacity.
- Measure financial performance and KPIs understand any variation.
- Ensuring good communication is maintained between dental professionals, support staff and the patients at all times.
- Administration and bookkeeping duties within the clinic (Xero software experience is preferred)
- Ensuring all legal and health and safety requirements are adhered to including CQC compliance.
- Meeting and greeting patients in a friendly manner and discussing any issues or concerns that they may have.
- Overseeing the ordering of dental stock and other products and supplies when required.
- Assisting the customer care team with the planning and scheduling of appointments, implementation of treatment plans and keeping patient records up to date.
- At least 1 years’ experience within a management role.
- Good general knowledge of CQC compliance.
- Good IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to manage; management experience of multiple clinic locations would
- Attention to detail – essential when working in a busy dental surgery.
- Highly organised – essential for the effective management of a busy dental clinic.
- Problem Solving – ability to deal with all problems that arise in the practice in a calm and professional manner.
- Must be comfortable working at a fast pace in our ever-changing industry.
- Willing to learn new skills.
- Fantastic customer service skills essential.
