The successful candidate will support the Apprenticeship Services Department with the onboarding and retention of employers and learners on the pharmacy apprenticeships, to deliver an enhanced service experience for employers and learners. If you are passionate about inspiring learner success in the and would pharmacy sector and like to work for a fast-growing accredited training provider, then read on… What we are looking for We are looking for a GPhC registered Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician with previous experience in an education or training role. Knowledge of the GPhC Standards for the initial education and training of pharmacy technicians and current apprenticeship standards for pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support staff is also deemed essential to this role. What’s involved in this position? The ASD Support Tutor is accountable for supporting the enrolment of new learners onto pharmacy apprenticeship programmes by completing activities such as: ° Skills scan calls with learners applying to pharmacy apprenticeship programmes ° Advising on placements, rotation and worksite suitability ° Advising on eligibility based on prior qualifications ° Advising on Workplace Training Supervisor suitability ° Supporting setting of development objectives by apprentices ° Reviewing screening results and advising employers on suitability/additional support training, prior to or alongside, the apprenticeship programme · Maintain accurate records · Liaise with Buttercups Teams to raise concerns to employers, where appropriate · Participate in standardisation and quality driven activities and projects as required · Act as an ASD specialist for understanding and advising on pharmacy related matters · To work in line with all other relevant policies and procedures, at all times Salaries and benefits The starting salary is competitive, depending on experience. The starting salary is competitive, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be offered a fixed term contract for 9 months, working 96 hours per month. The role suits itself to locums who wish to remain in industry but would enjoy this new challenge and can work flexibly given advanced notice.
