Advanced Specialist Pharmacist (Education & Training)

We are looking for an inspirational pharmacist to lead on our trainee pharmacist education and training programme. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in education and training to further develop their expertise. It comes at a time where there are exciting challenges ahead in the delivery of foundation training and extending our collaborative work across NCL ICS including the development of a split sector trainee pharmacist programme with primary care general practice. The post holder will have a key role in the joint development and delivery of the programme with our local GP partner and support from HEE. The department has got a strong education and training culture and the post holder will work closely with other E&T leads (Lead Pharmacy Technician for E&T and the Lead Pharmacist for Postgraduate education). Further networking and development opportunities are provided at both a local and regional level, particularly focusing on foundation training (via HEE LaSE) and early careers development.
