The Role
Here at Sundean Veterinary Group we are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to cover Maternity. The day-to-day duties will include a mix of consulting and operating in our general small animal practice. The candidate should be happy with routine and occasional urgent or emergency clinical presentations, for both medical and surgical cases. The role is for 3 days a week and the days chosen can be flexible. The shift patterns will be a standard 9:00am-7:00pm although some flexibility can be considered on the shift length. The role would ideally require one Saturday in 6 from 9:00am-4:00pm but with no on-call. The salary will be up to £50,000 depending on experience + up to £5,000 relocation allowanceAbout Us
The practice is a small, friendly rural practice with facilities including x-ray, dental X-ray and ultrasound. We pride ourselves on our customer focus and try to accommodate clients as much as we can within our three clinics. The surrounding area is the stunning countryside of the Forest of Dean, with easy access to Gloucester, Cardiff and Bristol. Across our sites we have 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 10 Support Staff. We have a cert AVP medicine, and ESVPS certificate holders in Exotics and Ophthalmology. Our candidate will fit in best by being a supportive team player with good communication skills. We take part in charity and local events and enjoy being part of the local community.Applicant Requirements
