Kennel Assistant (veterinary practice)

We are looking for a full time Kennel Assistant to join our INDEPENDENT companion animal practice based in Shaftesbury, Dorset and Wincanton, Somerset. We pride ourselves on our friendly and supportive working environment with a great team spirit. The practice has good facilities including CT Scanner, digital X-Ray, ultrasound scanners, in-house laboratory and both rigid and flexible endoscopes and we offer orthopaedic surgery, and laparoscopic speying. Kennel Assistant duties include cleaning of surgical equipment, kennels and bedding and assisting our Veterinary Nurses and Vets while they treat patients. We are a nurse training practice, so this is a great opportunity for someone who is hoping to train to be a veterinary nurse in the future. Minimum qualifications required: 5 GCSE’s including Maths, English and Science.
