Edgbaston Dental Centre is a long-established dental practice that provides high quality dental treatment. Our core value proposition is to provide a consistent, high-quality service to our patients. We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to be an integral part of our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be professional, a great communicator and above all, an excellent team player. The role is to be part of the front-of-house reception team, to greet the patients, handle calls and maintain the appointment booking system. The practice is easily accessible via buses / public transport.
Key Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Handling incoming enquiries via email, telephone, or in-clinic
- Managing dentists’ diaries and schedule of patient appointments accordingly
- Maintaining accurate and complete patient records whilst ensuring patient confidentiality
- Assisting with the completion of onward dental referral letters, and any other communication as instructed by the dentists
- Understanding all available treatments and each patient’s individual requirements
- Keeping a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed on each working day
- Effectively communicating with other team members to maintain positive working relations
