Veterinary Practice Manager

Here at Head and Head Vets we have an excellent opportunity for a practice manager to join our team. We believe that people are the key to our success, so the successful candidate will be a positive and inspirational leader. Day to day duties would see the successful candidate overseeing the general running and future development of the practice. Working closely with the clinical directors and other key members of the team to ensure we provide an excellent professional service to our clients and their animals. Within this role you would be managing the reception team , financies, including debt management, client complaints, organising practice meetings, people management, premises management including all the health and safety. Providing support to all our employees wellbeing within the practice. You would also complete reviews of all employees under your line management. This is a busy role, you would need to be organised and be able to manage your own time and workload effectively. You would be undertaking recruitment to select candidates suitable to the role and team. Overseeing staff inductions , probabtion reviews, apprasials, absenteeim. The correct candidate needs to have professionalism, integrity,and ethical standards. Customer care skills showing empathy. Confident in abilities but prepared to listen to and learn from colleagues. Resourceful in seeking guidance and problem solving. Experience in management is desired and ideally having expereinc ein the veterinary industry, however we will consider exceptional candidates with demonstratable skills of customer care. You must have excellent IT skills and be able to communicate to people of all levels. The Rota will include working up to 40 hours a week Monday-Friday, flexible working will be considered.
