Full Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Research team as a Specialist Optometrist assisting mainly with our research trial portfolio.
In addition, there will be a requirement to assist with the on-going requirement to provide grading support for diabetic eye screening images and surveillance OCT images for the Gloucestershire Diabetic Eye Screening Programme.
Working as a Specialist Optometrist assisting mainly in undertaking optometric tests in relation to our research trial portfolio.
Grading images to support the Gloucestershire Diabetic Eye Screening Programme and their surveillance OCT clinics.
The Gloucestershire Retinal Research Group are an experienced and enthusiastic team working in the area of Ophthalmology and mostly retinal research.
a) To support the development of research projects for the Gloucestershire Diabetic Retinopathy Research Group, particularly where there is optometric involvement. The current projects of interest for involvement of this post are numerous clinical trial:
ALLUVIUM, BARDENAS, HORNBILL, NEON, MACUSTAR, EYE DMI, RHONE-X, AVONELLE-X, EVIAN, MEERKAT, AIDED
b) To assist with the on-going requirement to provide grading support for diabetic eye screening images and surveillance OCT images for the Gloucestershire Diabetic Eye Screening Programme.
