This practice is situated in a bustling high footfall area with a long-standing customer base made up of a good mix of private and NHS patients.
I have a small team all working toward the same goals and have a good reputation for being friendly and patient-focused with equal consideration given to customer care and business needs.
Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant
The role will entail managing in and outbound calls/inquiries, as well as taking bookings and addressing patients’ queries. There is an element of administration duties involved and liaising with colleagues on the retail floor and the lab.
Requirements of the Optical Assistant
At least 2 years of experience in a busy practice is essential and the ability to dispense to all levels due to the nature of handling queries effectively and professionally.
A customer-focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written are essential as well as an excellent team player attitude.
