Here at Sciensus new opportunities have arisen for Pharmacovigilance Officers to join us at our head office in Burton. This will be a hybrid role coming into our Burton office, currently 1 day a week. You will follow internal standard operating procedures and work instructions to report adverse events and adverse drug reactions as part of the Sciensus over-arching incident and complaints reporting and learning system. The Pharmacovigilance Officer would primarily be responsible for the receipt, data entry, tracking and reporting of adverse events/adverse drug reactions to pharma clients/clinical referral centres and the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency. This all sounds great – What key skills do I need to apply:
  • 5 GCSE’s Grade C and above including English language, and a science subject
  • A level or AS level or equivalent
  • Experience working in a technical administrative environment, text data handling and record keeping to a high level of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills (written, oral, presentational, and interpersonal)
  • Able to multi-task and continue to function to a high standard when under pressure.
  • Able to communicate well and liaise with people at all levels within and outside Sciensus
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work with a high degree of accuracy.
